NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018. NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018. The CBSE said admissions for all the seats of MBBS and BDS courses across the country will be made through NEET (UG) 2017 this year.
Accordingly, admissions will be made in all India quota seats, state government quota seats, state, management, NRI quota seats in private medical or dental colleges or any private or deemed university and central pool quota seats, the CBSE stated.
“Also Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India, Person of Indian Origin and foreign nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG) 2017 and will also be eligible for 15% all India quota seats,” according to the Board.
“There shall be three attempts available uniformly for all the candidates in NEET examination. Aadhaar Number is required to fill up the online application of NEET 2017 for the candidates of all states except J&K, Assam and Meghalaya. In this regard, based on the Aadhaar Act, CBSE has issued a public notice to make the candidates aware,” the CBSE further informed.
“Candidates have been given an opportunity to submit the online application for a month period from January 31 to March 1. This year in all the seats of MBBS and BDS courses, admission will be made through NEET (UG) 2017,”
Around 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the NEET examinations which would be held in 1500 examination centres spread across 80 cities across the country. CBSE will hold NEET-UG, 2017 for the first time for admission in MBBS and BDS courses.
“Admitting authorities will invite applications for counseling and Merit List shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the admitting authorities subject to their applicable rules,”lAST DATE OF APPLICATION 1st March, 2017 and exam is to be conducted on 7th May, 2017.
|Eligibility for Foreign/PIO/OCI/NRI Aspirants||Candidates belonging to these categories are permitted to apply for NEET and accordingly eligible for appearing in 15% All India Quota Counselling.|
|Upper Age Limit and Number of Attempts||The upper age limit of the candidates appearing for NEET (UG) has been fixed at 25 years on the date of conduct of examination. A five year relaxation has been given to the reserved category candidates.There shall be three attempts available uniformly for all the candidates in NEET examination|
|Qualifying Exam Codes||The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.|
|Merit List||The minimum qualifying percentile for NEET exam will be 50% and 40% for General and reserved category candidates respectively.|

Admit card would be accessible from the official website of the respective authority. We will intimate you the actual date for obtaining your admit card however, you may expect your admit card in the month of April, 2017.
The Central Board of Secondary Education is liable to conduct NEET exam, evaluate answer sheet and declare its respective result. Result of aspirants will be declared by 1st week of June, 2017, however this is not the actual date. Actual dates will be updated to aspirants after release of its respective notification. The authority will not declare separate result list of SC/ST category aspirants.
