Entrance Exam

NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is an all India level based examination organized by the CBSE Board. MBBS Admission 2018

Students looking for admission in MBBS programmes, can apply for the NEET examination from 31st January 2018. The application form was available till the 1st March 2018. The examination was organized on 7th May 2018.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Indian Nationals & OCI candidates can apply for this exam.
  • Candidates must have cleared the 12th or equivalent exam with PCB and English subjects from any recognized board.
  • Students must have completed the age of 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The maximum age limit is 25 Years for general and 30 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • Students appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

After clearing the NEET examination, a merit list will be prepared by the authority as per the marks scored in the entrance test. Students will be invited for counselling process as per the ranks secured in the rank list. In the counselling process, candidates are required to choose the list of colleges where they are seeking for admissions.

Seats will be allotted to students on the basis of choices filled by them, rank scored and the availability of seats in the colleges. Students will be required to report to the allotted college to complete the admission process. In India, there are approx 53565 seats are available for admissions in MBBS programme in 2017.
